  1. I will be back in town this Saturday (18th) if anyone is interested in looking at 2/2s
  2. Guess I can call myself a Gator nurse now! So excited
  3. I live in Ponte Vedra (just south of Jax). My mail hasn't come yet...the anticipation....ugh
  4. Yes. I submitted my app about 2-3 weeks ago
  5. Yeah I definitely appreciate the fact that UF College of Nursing looks at the total package (grades, letters of rec., personal statement, etc). Most of the programs look solely at grades/TEAS scores. The app deadline hasn't even passed yet and the anticipation is already getting to me.
  6. Took the GRE this morning. Improved my score from last year...not as much as I would've liked though. Will be putting my app in the mail next week. Good luck everyone! :)
  7. Using "Barron's GRE Math Workbook" & "Kaplan GRE Strategies, Practice, & Review 2015". making flashcards for the vocab words/roots in back of Kaplan book. The Math Reference in Kaplan book is really helpful because I haven't seen some of that stuff since high school (compound interest, factorials, standard deviation, etc) Both books have a lot of examples & practice problems w/ answers explained.
  8. Hi everyone! I will be reapplying to UF's Accelerated BSN. I applied to the 2014 program, was wait-listed, but unfortunately didn't make it off the list. Graduated from FSU in May 2013 & finished my nursing prereqs there. have been working at UF Health Jacksonville since June 2013. My upper division GPA was a 3.5, & my GRE scores just met UF's minimum requirement (153/144). Using Kaplan book to study this time around (can't remember which one I used last year). Hopefully, with another year of full-time work experience in healthcare setting & higher GRE scores I'll get in this time. Best of luck to everyone!
  9. DeeJGator, I was wait listed too when I got my letter in the mail, however, I didn't receive the same good news from Ken that you did on the 26th. for those on the waitlist who were offered spots, when is the deadline for you all to send in your decisions to the CON?
