  1. Update: I am now licensed! I got an early Christmas present of an approval Thursday and I went to the bvnpt yesterday to pay my $150 and get my temporary permit. I'm so thankful that stress is over. I tested exactly 17 weeks ago, 119 days from test to license. Test on August 22, licensed on December 18. I hope this gives you hope.
  2. The news is not good, unfortunately... my file is also in enforcement. I tested in August and got my pass letter September 22. I called yesterday and spoke to a very nice lady in the enforcement department. She told me that they are working on the last week of June/first week of July testers now and that I shouldn't call back until after the first of the year. She said that there are extra delays because the holidays are coming and a lot of staff takes time off during this time of the year. 5 months after testing is just terrible and ridiculous!
  3. Try to relax for the next month. I tested August 22 in Sacramento and just got my letter yesterday saying I passed! 4 weeks and 4 days of torture!!!
  4. I finally got my letter! 4 weeks and 4 days after testing!!! I passed!!!
  5. Congratulations! That is great news!
  6. My friend that tested on the 20th got his passing letter yesterday the 18th. But we are in Sacramento so the mail is fast. I'm hoping mine gets here by Tuesday. That will be 4 weeks and 3 days of waiting.
  7. Thank you, I'm trying to be patient... I was doing pretty well until the 3 week mark came and went. That's why I'm curious on when Tina gets her letter. She tested on the 19th, a friend of mine tested on the 20th, and then me on the 22nd. I figure I can keep it together until they get theirs and I know about how long until mine will be coming. I will post as soon as my letter comes. I'm sure there are many other Californians trying to figure out the same thing. Thank you for your confidence and congratulations on passing and surviving the wait!
  8. Tina... I'll be watching for you to get your letter and hoping it's a good one for you! I took mine August 22 in Sacramento and have been stalking the mailman waiting for the slow state of California. It has been three weeks and five days for me. I'm going crazy!!! People that get quick results in 48 hours have no idea what true torture is! Lol
