Wolford College CRNA February 2016 entry
My profile was actually not created recently, I joined in April of 14, long before I would have been a student at Wolford. I noticed that before starting school that Wolford gets a really bad rap online, so I did my research and talked with students who had actually graduated from the program to get a good idea what it was all about. Obviously I got some good recommendations or I would have not applied here.

Maybe you can help?
Hi heatherisbetter, I noticed that you had posted a couple years back on my page when i was looking into CRNA schools. I am currently going to Wolford in Naples FL. It is a front loaded program, I am in my second semester and so far the experience has been great. Plus its a great place to live. I live about 10 mins from the beach. Let me know if you have any questions! Good luck!

I will have to agree with RN_Dude, the reason that they have new teachers is the school is working towards getting their regional accreditation. They have moved out all the teachers who do not have a doctorate of some sort. For me the teachers have been amazing, as RN_dude said all actual anesthesia courses are taught by CRNAs, anesthesiologists, or pharmacists. Conversations are not recorded, there are cameras in the classroom for testing purposes and to record the lectures for students to go back and listen to them. The education I have received at wolford has been above and beyond my expectations. You are expected to learn the info on your own. This is grad school, they are not going to spoon feed you the info. Welcome to grad school. I would not listen to a student who has been in the program for less than one semester.

Roseman University grad to CRNA
Sorry I am just seeing this post now. I graduated with the first class in Utah in 2011. I have not found much more information. But I haven't applied yet either. I am going to start applying next summer to a few schools that I am interested in. One thing I do know that gives me some hope is that our class president got into the DNP program here in Utah, and they counted his GPA from roseman as a 4.0 Which is awesome. If I can get a school to see it as a 4.0 it will boost my GPA to a 3.5 which actually gives me a chance. I would really like to know if somebody got into a CRNA school that went roseman and which school they got into. What do you think? Do you think we have a chance of getting in with the way roseman does grades?

Roseman University grad to CRNA
Hello, I am currently an ICU nurse working in a Trauma 1 hospital. I am interested in CRNA however I am concerned that the non-traditional grading system of my nursing school will prevent me from getting into CRNA school. The school I attended Roseman University is technically a pass/fail program but does post an "A" grade on my transcript in each of my classes. I was wondering if there is anyone that has had a similar experience. Roseman University is fully accredited. Thanks!
