  1. Thank you both so much!!! I was fighting my gut feelings on which NANDA's to choose. After reading your posts, I followed my gut and found my 3 NANDA's I want to choose =) Thanks again for all of your great advice!
  2. Impaired Tissue Integrity? Impaired Mobility? Risk for falls? Acute pain? You are doing a great job! I definitely recommend a good care plan book, we use Gulanick 8th edition and I can usually come up with care plans pretty easily. Good luck, hope I helped =)
  3. Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum but I am struggling with my assignment for second semester. I'm not sure if anyone is aware of Mind maps but we were assigned one. We have a patient then have to come up with 3 NANDAS (one biophysical, one psychsocial, and one educational) then they have to link up. I've decided with Decreased Cardiac Output and Grieving, but can't figure out one for educational. I had an 80 y/o patient admitted with Pneumonia, by time she was assigned to me her pneumonia was pretty much cleared up. However, she had a history of CHF with her EF @ 25%. And the next day her and her family had decided on Hospice. She is currently living in a nursing home because her family doesn't live close by. So her nutritional needs are basically being met, which rules out a ton since her nutritional needs are all being met by their dietician. I'm not sure if I've given enough information, I just can't figure out an Ed. Nanda! Help!!! =)
