  1. I used Kaplan since my school requires us to use it every semester. I also used Hurst and I think it is a good review of content. Kaplan is more like how to get used to the style of questions. My qtrainer scores ranges from 48-62% and my readiness was 60%. I also had Saunders but I found the questions on the easy side so I only did about 200 of them and used Hurst & Kaplan instead.
  2. I am in California. All of my classmates got results in 2-3 days depend on what day they test on. I tested on Friday and it took 3 days. I understand the waiting is brutal but best luck to you.
  3. Just found out I passed! Decided to check again before I sleep and my license number showed up!!! So excited
  4. I am still waiting for the result. Good luck to you! I think I am getting over this... well worse come to the worse just take it again in 45 days.... I haven't try PVT, just wanted to wait for the official result so it will be 100% accurate.
  5. It was my first time taking the NCLEX. I thought it would have stopped at 75 just like my other classmates had (they all passed). Then it went up to 100.. 150.. 200.. 265. At a point I thought of giving up, it was a mental challenge. My heart was pounding thinking why is it still giving me questions. I was there for 5 hours and felt terrible after. I've read good and bad things about taking all 265. My last question was a dietary/food question and I believed I got it wrong (further convinced that I've failed). I didn't even want to try the PVT trick. It was tough and even after the exam I'm still not able to sleep. I just felt very stressful and I didn't want to talk to people about this yet since I am still having a hard time getting over it. I guess venting on this forum might help a little bit...
  6. by the way are we suppose to receive a mail that has all the forms that we need to complete and submit to certified background?
  7. that was exactly what I got. I just emailed the department char but no response yet. Maybe I will call them tomorrow.
  8. I think I have to send them a email then. I am not able to register because it said Major restriction, department approval required. Did this happen to you?
  9. Hey guys! For those of you that planning to go to CCSF and attended the orientation, are you able to register for classes? I think I heard we can register for classes after they turn in the paperwork and I am not sure am I the only one that can't register for classes.
  10. I think I received mine on Sat too after two weeks of checking the mail like a crazy person. I was in the 10s on the lottery list. Time to study for TEAS!
