Me and Daisy just did the CPR class on the 12th and they said to NOT buy the ATI till class because they may have voted that out for this year

Hey yall! It was really nice getting to meet a few of you yesterday. Im so excited. As far as the uniforms, i think you might have to go in. Plus dont you want to try them on????

I'm going casual. I just feel it's registration, we will learn the deal tomorrow. They will let is know what is okay and what isn't and then I'll adjust.

Are you in daytime classes?

I do not have any idea but my hair is also bright purple so looks like we are in this together. My time is 1 tomorrow. If they say anything I'll let them know it will not be purple when classes start. I also have a sleeve and gauged ears so looks like I'm rocking long sleeves.

For me the four night classes are all te same days. But I don't know which hospitals we will be in, I have a preference.... But who knows.

I believe the way you were notified was just based on which department you applied through. Nothing major. Like mrsmda said, you'll get something notifying you when you need to register! Congratulations everyone

No i work in manhattan at a dr's office. its only one of us here at a time i couldnt leave him hanging butttt the woman who cleans my bf parents home for the past 20+ years was there and she opened it. I couldn't wait, how could you when you know it there waiting for you. So my boyfriend family called me up screaming in the phone... Im totally overwhelmed. i cant wait to have it in my hands!

that'sawesome! I'm all about getting classes from Nassau, plus i think its a good school. community colleges get such a bad rap sometimes. and thanks that would be great. I wouldn't get there till 4/430 ish so knowing what I'm walking into before hand would be wonderful. I'm in AP2 now, as long as you study you are good. The information is interesting ( at least for me ) and this semester its the only class I'm taking, but its like any tougher class, work hard and that will show. I'm taking medical micro this summer session 1 and psy 216 summer session 2. I'm packed

i agree with the trying not to over load with classes. I'm going to take the prereqs for RN to BS programs during the winter and summer sessions. I was also reading from NYU that some programs require you to be working for a year before you get into the program. Ill throw my ultimate dream out there... I want to go to Columbia, they have one of the best midwifery programs in NY.... being that it is a masters program i clearly have time. I figure i will really focus with just the nursing classes each semester and bust my butt to keep my GPA above a 3.75. I also am not sure that i would be able to squeeze other classes in with my jobs.... who knows. Right now I'm just hoping for one letter:snurse:
