  1. Congrats to you as well!!! And thank you misstiko07! What a great journey it will be!!
  2. Hey All!!! Just got off the phone with my recruiter, and the official results didn't come through yet, but the preliminary list had my name on it!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait!!!! And @NavyNurseCorpsPM1, thank you, and I was waiting to get the call back from my recruiter!!!
  3. I've thought about it, benefits on both sides, one side has great perks being an 'O', but then the other side being enlisted you get to work with the guys in the field, we'll see, I still have to wait to hear first lol!
  4. I'm out of the New England area, when did your recruiter notify you? Mine said I'd hear back late November or even December.. Frankly, I'm probably not surprised if I wasn't selected, just means I should enlist as HM or go army and do 18D LOL!
  5. Welp, there goes my confidence... My kit was put together last second due to a list of miscommunications! Haven't heard anything myself, thought I had a lot going for it too...Guess everything happens for a reason if I don't hear back!
  6. Thanks for the responses, it's a thought to do it, my outlook is I'd rather work hand and hand with the marines (many of my buddies are in the corps), rather than being stuck in a field hospital etc... it's something to get heckled for, but if it's more help as an HM than an O, I'd do it...
  7. Hello!!! I know I'm in for it, and will hear how stupid it is for me to want to do this, however, does anyone know if you have your BSN (I finish in another year), would you be able to bypass the Navy Corpsman 'A' School if enlisting? Or would it be shortened up since the 4 year BSN, on top of 4 years in the FD/EMS setting (EMT-B)? Thank you for any help.
  8. What sub specialty would you say is most likely to do FMF? Critical care? And would it be the same for flight nurses? (Currently going into jr. year nursing, would like to do Critical Care in the Navy).
