  1. 9:23 pm by Nola009 I just graduated and passed the NCLEX last year. I posted on your other thread before. You seem like a good, and proud parent. Congrats to both you and your daughter...the nurse!:) Congratulations to you !!!! That's great !! I remember your post. Hard to believe you can actually say my daughters name the ... the nurse. Kind of hits home when you put it in writing for me.
  2. 8:16 pm by NursePallasFNP2b CONGRATULATIONS to her!!! I don't know her, but after taking and passing the test myself, I know she must be one tough (and bright) cookie! I'm proud of her and wish her well on this new chapter in her life! And what a great dad you are for being so happy for her that you share the good news with us. Thanks for this bright spot in my day, and have an awesome one yourself! You are awesome. Thank you for the nice compliment and that brightens my day. It's not hard to do I don't think. I will tell her what you said. It will be interesting to see what happens in the future. Thank you again.
  3. 7:50 pm by Anna G Great job ! I really proud of people who can do it Thank you. It is something to be proud of. You can do it also if you have not already. Your school should teach you everything you need to know.
  4. Congratulations!!!! That is wonderful!!! I agree, it is possible to pass the test at first try :) I'm a foreign educated nurse from Germany and was out of nursing for 7 years and I passed the NCLEX-RN even though English isn't my mother tongue. There you go. It is possible and 90% do pass the first time and so can you. Congratulations on passing. That could not have been easy with such a long break.
  5. :46 pm by Nola009 Congrats!!! You must be proud!:) Hard not to be proud. It's a long journey as you know. Anyone who gets through it should be given a medal. Are you a student ?
  6. 12:16 pm by bmieres31 Congratulations to your daughter! I am preparing for the NCLEX and can't wait to pass so that my parents are proud as you are. Congratulations once again. Thank you. My dear, I have a feeling your parents are extremely proud of you right now. Just writing this note to someone you don't know is proof enough that they should be proud. Passing the NCLEX would just be icing on the cake for them.
  7. Hi Thank you to all of you. It has been a real pleasure reading your posts and comments here. What a great group. Makes me wish I was a nurse. Keep supporting each other. You won't find that in too many other fields. I meant what I said about the NCLEX. I know I am not the one who took it. But, believe in yourself and study for it. Almost 90% of the people who take it the first time pass. It's easy to get scared when you read someone did not pass. Numbers don't lie. As nurses and future nurses you know that. I will drop in once in a while just because you have me hooked on this board. Please be safe in what you do and smile about something every day !!!
  8. Hi Keane68 , That is great news! Congratulations to your daughter, & kudos to you for being such an involved, supportive father. Wishing you & your family continued success & happiness . You are really nice to say that. I honestly just helped financially like every parent tries to the best they can. I have always been supportive as are most parents. I think we always hear about the bad ones. I wish you and your family all the happiness in the world. You are a special person to take the time to write what you did. Take care
  9. Sep 22 by klone Congrats to her! I remember your other post here - was she able to get into a residency program? Hi, what a memory. She has not been able to get into a residency program yet. I think like most people she was afraid to apply to anything until she passed her nclex. Now, it's full speed ahead. Of course, with bumps along the way.
  10. 12:54 am by kadeemb get it girl! lol. I will tell her.
  11. Sep 22 by laKrugRN Congrats to her Thank you for taking the time to say that.
  12. Thank you so much. I bet you will never forget what it feels like to never have to take that test again !
  13. Thank you. As all of you know, it is a long journey to get to this point. I told her just to pat herself on the back this week and appreciate all the hard work she has put in.
