I have a question. I go to college in FL and may be tranferrring. By the time I transfer, I will have one year of the RN program in FL completed, including all of my prerequisites. WIll I have to redo any of my classes?

So with the tobacco AHEC assessment, has anyone else gotten errors and it wont allow them to print the certificate? Also, how is this due? I dont see a drop box for it, and how exactly will we submit it?

UGH. i wrote an essay on it. i totally forgot that whole system we were supposed to use. i remember now she mentioned it in class.

They reitterated that white and blue calendars were the blue team I believe. And it is in the same classes on the schedule. So it should be fine. As long as you find the correct classroom. and Mackenzie, the modules are not grouped together. when you go into the online text book, you need to look at the indivisual chapters. go to the products view and click on the taylor nursing fundamentals book and then go to digital textbook. Open it up and go through the tabs to find the different chapters in each mod

I dont even get how to read the ebook. I cant even find the book.

Does anyone know how much money the RN note is for labs/clinicals?

mvburke, i got a 151 and was accepted. so that means on the alternate list you are one of the most likley to be selected

The TABE is not required to take, it is a reccomendation but is in no way required. Atleast thats what the department told me

My chest xray read negative. Im glad I went to an urgent care clinic, because I was reffered by my primary care physician to another doctor and I wont be in to see them until after the paperwork deadline. I was also told we do not have to have our parking decal and ID submitted because they make us pay for tuition first, so we can submit that afterwards

I think the ebooks is the biggest ripoff. we dont even get to sell it back

So Im deciding to tell my expierience for any others who may benefit. I had my PDP TB skin test read today. I tested doubtful. I got a second opinion and got positive. I had a chest xray and got negative. I was worried this would effect my status. The handbook clearly states you need a negative TB skin Test. I called Ann Hubbard and she said as long as the chest xray is negative I am good to go. So if anyone else is in this position dont freak out. I think I did enough freaking out for the rest of us. I will be on medication for 6 months and they said that is fine because it is a latent, non-communicable form of TB, and good news! No TB skin tests for me for life. :) Finding a silver lining in it all I guess. And the DR said it should be erradicated after the antibiotics and B vitamins. Has anyone else had to deal with this?

Ok..is TABE mandatory? Also what about the orientations on 8/22 and 8/25? I better look at the calendar! Whew Im so nervous abuot how Im going to find 3k to pay for everything. All my scholarships havent pannd out yet. D:

You know a couple people probably failed the drug test (it was 4/20 the day before they were due ) and I counted 15 people who did not show up to the ADN meeting. there will be people that will run out of time on vaccines or procrastinate or change situations, or have to move, so im sure most of the alternates will get in :) But check that link, that was the forum for last semester's nursing, which should have more info on alternates

I'm trying to get them done at the health department, and since I live with my dad and he makes too much for sliding scale, but since i am 18 and he supports me fully i think they still take my work information which means I might qualify for like 80% off. so possibly yay me:D Thats how it was at another place with sliding scale medical fees

I counted 15 people did not show up. Most of them were probably alternates but I don't know.

It's kinda pathetic how much they have messed up and act like we are the nuisances here.
