  1. Wow, I am so jazzed!!!! OMG, I for sure thought I failed. After 15 years of being an LVN/LPN :stone >4 years of ADN school :angryfire (had to drop out and restart my program twice)>75 questions :uhoh21: (11 choose all that apply,4 fill-in math calculate, a jillion priority questions) :rotfl: Here sits before you another inductee into the 2 letter club!!!!!! A.Jones RN (praise GOD)
  2. I was thinking the same thing, and those choose all that apply, I was shaking and actually was hoping to get more regular questions, like past 75 (To mentally redeem myself...LOL). Now that I am breathing again, I remember mostly prioritizing questions. Who should the nurse see first......ALL of them!!!!....it was totally way too close.....Like;Bleeding to death and barely dying or bleeding to death and kinda dying???!!! I expected to be challanged, but I was stumped.
  3. It's over, and what a long drive it was back...., never noticed how far I am from DC until today. It was the longest hour I have ever felt every second of. Well it shut off at 75 and I don't care how many times you hear about it, you're not ready for it no matter what. I had seemed like 15, probably was more like 10-11, choose all that apply and 5 math questions, not regular math.....math like calculate IV pitocin to the minute/gtt/ml kinda math....arrgh!!! 44 hours and counting! AJ
  4. I'm on the 27th here in DC, was an LPN/LVN for 15 years. I am getting more anxious also. I keep reminding myself not to answer as an LPN/LVN, but as a graduate and I'll be fine. You got this is! AJ
  5. Hi, If this helps: I am LPN/LVN with 15 years experience now RN grad May '05. Most facilities here have offfered half of my LPN/LVN time which equates to approx 7.5-8 years. These are what I am looking at choosing from. All in Labor and Delivery. Johns Hopkins:$29 no shift differentials Saint Joseph Medical Center:$28 plus 3$ something in shift differentials Franklin Square: $28 plus 3$ something in shift diff. University of MD: $24!! ahh!! with 3-5$ in shift diff. Please PM for more details about each benefits. (I moved from the west coast and wished I had done this homework first) AJ
