  1. Hi I applied in December and had all my stuff completed and sent in April. Good luck!
  2. Hi! It took about 3 weeks after I had everything in.
  3. Hello! Looking to connect with anyone who has been accepted into Roxborough school of nursing evening/weekend program starting in January 202O. I can’t wait to start nursing school and would like to share!
  4. Congratulations!! I too am an older student and also a Dialysis Technician! I just applied to nursing school, for the fall of 2015. Good luck to u!
  5. Trust me, u are good to go with a 88% I'm freaking out over a 78.
  6. I feel your pain! I failed algebra the first time, took it again and got a C+. Does your school offer tutoring? If so I highly suggest u take advantage of it. Believe me, u are not the only one who struggles in math. But yes, u need to pass to go on to Chemistry. Stay strong and good luck!
  7. How is microbiology? I was going to take it in the summer, but changed my mind, I have been going to school non-stop now and only have 2 classes left before I can apply. I decided not to kill my self this summer and not take any classes. So in the fall I will be taking A&P2 and microbiology. I don't know if that is a mistake, but I have been so stressed out, I really feel I need this break. I also work full time.
  8. Jenny, I too am an older(48) but wiser! student. I started my prereqs in 2011 and now only have 2 more classes to go before I can apply! I also have 2 older children, 19 and 21. I never went back when they were young because I felt my place was with them. I was also divorced when they were young. Like you said, "now is my turn!" I will have my AAS in nursing, and then plan to go on to get my BSN. I also have been a Dialysis Technician for many years, so when I graduate I will just change job status from tech to nurse. So I'm set. Just can't wait to get into nursing school. Just being able to say that I am a student nurse will be so great! My sister is a RN and has been my biggest support in my long journey. It's a shame that your friend quit, but thats her issue, not yours. Don't let her get you down or discourage you when she sees u going for your dream and passing. I have been in healthcare for the past 20 years and its very rewarding work! Good luck to you!
  9. Thanks for the advice!
  10. Hello, I just finished A&P1 and got a 77%. I lot dropped out of class, so I feel good that I passed. Will this score hurt me for nursing school? Or am I being to hard on my self?
  11. I'm 48, and have 3 more classes to go before I can apply for nursing school! I have worked as a Dialysis Technician for the past 20 years and it took this long to decide to go back to school. I started in 2011. I waited until my two kids got older because I'm a single mom I felt my place was with them while they were little. They are now 19 and 21 and also in college. Good luck to all!
