  1. Not only that, once you get in the program the instructors are just mean. Well mean is not the right word, but they don't seem to want the students to pass. Im only talking about my school and I know other program are nices to their students. In our program, you can not even review what you did wrong in the exam. You can only see your score and thats it. How would we know what we answered right or wrong then? I think our school is like this because it's being run by ex-millitary instructors. We don't have any sayings, whatever they say you must do or you will fail. Our class average right now is a C and scores just keep going down. By the end of semester 1/3 of the class will fail. How would they compensate with the nursing shortage if they don't even want their students to pass? Thank God I'm still passing the class but I know few classmates that are really ver depress. Even though Im passing the class, I am depress also.
  2. maybe, it all depends what kind of felonies they are. If he or she is not a criminal, I guess it's still okay. They have a list that's available for what kind of conviction will not be considered to be given a license.
  3. Thank God, I just called the BON here in Ca and they say that it will not affect me in any how since it's only a misdemeanor
  4. they arrested me because i had an argument with the school quarterback. I wasn't expelled I simply move to another school.
  5. Hi, I am 26 yrs old and a nursing student. When I was 18, while returning the books to my previous high school, I was arrested for trespassing on school ground :angryfire . I just pleaded guilty to the judge because I did not want the hasle of going back and forth to the court :uhoh21: . My probation was one year to not to enter that school (until now i still have those books) which I satisfied by the way. My question now is, will this effect me once I try to become a RN? Did any of you had the same situation? and What did you guys do about it.
  6. oh i applied to 3 community colleges for their adn program and to sacramento state for their bsn program. On fall i will apply to 4 junior colleges, sac state, and to a respiratory care program also, hopefully i get pick this time.
  7. thyat's a very nice suggestion thank you i will sure keep that in mind.
  8. what should i do while waiting to get accepted in the program? Please give me advice.
  9. Hey guys what should i do while waiting to get accepted in the program?
  10. congratulation, so how long did it take you to get accepted, rayofsunshine?
  11. yeah it sure sucks to be in this situation. I am also thinking entering the respiratory care program. It is not as crowded there as nursing and the starting rate is also about the same. I will still be reapplying for the nursing program but at the same time I will open my choices that way i don't get behind.
  12. Hi, I need all your advice. I have already finish all my requirements to get into the nursing program but unfortunately I was place in a waiting list on all 3 schools I applied to. This fall i have no idea what to do. Should I take a class and become a CNA for a while? Please give me advice of what I can do while waiting to get accepted.
