I come from a non EU country i.e India. I am planning to write my ielts in the month of July. As I am really curious to apply to Nmc UK, I would like the know the types of documents Nmc pack consist of. It would be a great help. I am looking forward to apply soon but before that I want to understand what are actual papers we are required to fill and send? Will the appreciate your kind help. Thanks.

He told NMC will accept my experience as I am functioning as a registered nurse. My role includes supervision of student nurses in their clinical and teaching them as well. Anyways, Its always better to concern with authority before applying. Fingers crossed. :) Hoping to get a positive reply from NMC.

Hi, I think you should first apply to "an board altranais" ( Irish Nursing Board ). Fulfill the requirement before applying, they require a year experience, IELTS and so on. Its really helpful for all the nurses in the world. i often see a discussion and advises upon them. I have a question and i am really worried about it. I am planning to apply to NMC UK. But i don't have experience in clinical settings, I read the NMC's requirement criteria for registration. i am copying and pasting it "Practice Requirements At the time of the application, the applicant must have been practising as a registered nurse or midwife for at least 12 months (full-time or the part-time equivalent) after qualifying. Also, if the applicant has been qualified for longer than this, they must have also practised for at least 450 hours in the previous three years. The NMC defines 'practising' as working in some capacity by virtue of your registration as a nurse or midwife. Practice can include administrative, supervisory, teaching, research and managerial roles as well as providing direct patient care. In addition, this can include volunteer work as long as any practice is registered. If the applicant is a nurse and has not practised in more than five years prior to their application with us, they will have to undertake a longer version of the Overseas Nurses Programme (see pages 17 and 22 for further information). If they are midwife but they have not practised midwifery in the five years prior to their application with us, they must do a return to midwifery practice course in their home country (see page 13 for further information) If you have not been practising as a registered nurse for at least 12 months, then you cannot apply to register with the NMC until you have completed this. This is a mandatory requirement, for which there are no exceptions. I am afraid that am i eligible to apply for registration, as i am working in college?? But see what NMC defines about practicing. So, i am worried and in a confused state. I have 18 months experience as a Clinical Instructor. If i am eligible to apply then will i get a job in clinical setting ?? This scares me as i work in college side. I really want to work in UK. If it wont work for me then i will have to quit my job and start working in hospital. Kindly guide me and suggest me a solution on it. Thank you
