I'm a night nurse in a geriatric faclity obviously i give out some meds, but as an rn i do all the ivs for my facility(california does not permit LPN's to hang or start IV's)An hour or two of stupid paperwork, Stock the Medrooms and the medcarts and see and chart on 15 or so patients than another med pass at 0500. 3.over 35 an hour 4. After my first round of college i decided i didnt like teaching and went back to school. I decided to become a nurse because i was very idealistic...I thought that it was the right thing to do. I was very lucky in that I fell in love with it. 5.I'm Helping people 6. People who demean nursing. ADMINISTRATORS and other professions
