Is this for Med surg residencies?

I applied to both the Clin Nurse I for Oncology and Surgery Preop. My application for both says "Routed to Hiring Manager" but I have not yet received a call or email for interview.

I'm out of state with BSN. Applied March 27 or so, within the first 2 days application was open. Received a phone call April 2 and interviewed on April 21.

I don't. I have family here so the transition wouldn't be too bad if I had to move here. They're excited for me and would welcome me with open arms. Good luck to you too!

No, I'm trying to focus on California as I cant afford to keep coming back for interviews. However, if I dont hear anything in 6 months, then I'll focus here again. I did apply for GA license already so that will help later on.

The interview itself went well I think. It was just like you said behavioral questions with 2 scenarios, no math test. However, I was 3 minutes late arriving to the employment center because I got lost. They may not consider me at all because of it, I think. I'm grateful, they still allowed me to interview. Hi, I just finished the neverending application, assessment, and scenario simulations. I was curious if everyone who applies gets the link to take the additional assessments?

Nothing yet. I'm afraid that if they do call me, its going to be at 4-5am due to the time difference. In other news, I just got the Emory questionaire so I'll be working on that.

@thehopefulone It was good. Its a good opportunity to go directly to the unit you prefer and talk to the unit managers. But you are also in the same room with about 30 other applicants. There were 4 different rooms separated by specialty: Critical Care, Med Surg, Maternity Service, and Emergency Services. There were about 5 different units in the rooms I went to: Medsurg and Critical care.I was able to talk to 6 different unit managers and give them my resume. I spent about 3-5 min talking to them. But the pressure is on to make an impression. Most units I talked to were only hiring about 2-3 applicants, some only 1. There were a lot of other applicants but not 250 like we had read before. Maybe less than 100. My rooms had about 30-40 other applicants. But then you were able to go from room to room after about 1 hr so it fluctuated.

The med surg room was busy. My first choice is telemetry and they were there. The room had 6 tables. I was able to speak to 3 in medsurg and 3 in critical care room. I'm actually from CA and I just schedule my NCLEX for April 3.

I haven't heard anything yet. When I spoke to a med surg unit, the manager they might start calling back on Wednesday. How was the ER room? I wasn't able to get to ER but I did spend time in critical care as well as medsurg.

The meet and greet is this Friday, March 21. I applied mid February.

I did read that. But I figured/hoping that since its been 3 years, they may have improved their system. One of the more recent threads said that they don't invite everyone who applied.

Has anybody applied recently, after Feb 26, and received the questionaire?? I haven't..
