what were your symptoms and how did the doctor finally discover you had lupus? I'm just asking because I have been feeling run down for quite a while...
  2. I've earned a BA and was half way thru a Master's degree before I decided to pursue my real passion for nursing, and now that I am, I've never worked so hard in school and learned so much like I do now. I have ran into those comments where people think Nurses are dumb, the other day I was over my friend's house and she is also going to pursue nursing, her 2 yr. old daughter was playing with a stethescope and I said "oh look - Samantha wants to be a nurse" and she immediately snapped back and said - oh no - she's not going to be a nurse...SHE'S GOING TO BE A DOCTOR... I don't have kids yet, but i really hope that when i do, i don't want to live through my kids by making these comments....
  3. Thanks so much for posting this!!! YOu are an angel! Be blessed!
  4. I think her comment on the Nursing profession was answered on a basis of her 2nd best career choice because it is very difficult to break into being a famous singer. Like Jennifer Lopez once said, if she wouldn't have pursued acting and singing, she thought she'd be an accountant or a lawyer.
