Passed the NCLEX first time-- as an international nurse
What is the next step in the process of getting RN license after passing NCLEX as an outstate applicant? When does the BON send an offical result and license to the overseas applicant? When can I start to look for a nursing job in the US? Thank you.

NCLEX RN Advice
I passed my nclex few days ago. I believe with 60 questions only. I had about 50% SATA, mostly of communication, education, medication indications and dosage, few questions of diffirent syndroms. I read a Sanders book and did all questions with rationals in UWorld. It took me two weeks of preparation. In the real test, questions are a bit tricky, but not so hard. Now I can say that UWorld is just superior, highly recommend to everybody. I think that UWorld alone would be quite sufficient to pass exam. Good luck to all nclex takers.

How to: Applying for the CGFNS CES
Hello. how long to wait for ATT to be issued by the Nursing Board? do I have to register in NCLEX website prior having ATT? Can I ask the Nursing Board about the date of exam (for example, next year)?

ACU and CGFNS issue
Thank you for sharing your story. My transcript was sent by ACU Nursing School. Now I asked them just to send transcript including titles of units with short discription if necessary and all theory and practice hours during my course to cgfns and directly to a nursing board in US. Hope it will fix the problem.

ACU and CGFNS issue
yes I have a report in 1.5 years since application. However the report says that my education lacks of Mental Health, Maternity and Pediatric. Although I had clinical placements for Mental and Maternity and theory in Pediatric. I asked ACU about my academic transcript with theoratical and clinical placements hours in each unit, but still having no reply from them.

How to: Applying for the CGFNS CES
I asked my nursing school to send one more transcript with description and provide if it is possible a valid signature, seal and title. The school sent papers to CGFNS in August and I still have status 'waiting for approval'. I think nothing much can be done in this situation. In this case if you wish to work as a RN in US the only solution it is to do master degree in nursing in US university, imho. However it is quite expensive.

ACU and CGFNS issue
I paid CGFNS full price a year ago. ACU sent three transcripts with descriptions in different times. Two of them were not accepted by CGFNS due to following reason "Please be advised that your school of nursing must confirm in a letterhead letter that the seal and signature that they used for your transcripts is legitimate and to also enclose a sample of the seal and signature in the letter as well". For the last one I am still waiting for result from CGFNS. ACU said that they can not meet CGFNS requirements for some objective reason such as lack of seal. I believe that ACU does not give full description of units and clinical placements broken down by hours. Personally I have three weeks clinical placement in maternity. Transcripts sent by ACU are expensive as well. I paid $100 six months ago. I pretty sure that it is just waste of time and money in my case.
