    It's a bit difficult to find something right away, I am based in San Antonio and it was a long process. You are in luck to be in Houston, it is a much larger city! I say apply to home health agencies they love new nurses.... just as you have 6 months under your belt. A lot of them have orientations to refresh your memory along with a test to make sure you have it down. Good luck!
