  1. What did you find out? I, too, want to get my PHN cert in CA. If you live in CA, and complete the practicum in CA, apparently you will qualify to get PHN cert. Do you live in CA? I am in AZ and want that CA PHN cert.
  2. Thanks, Featherz. I does help that somebody in California was able to do it. I am in Arizona, and will probably complete the WGU program here with the ultimate goal of receiving the PHN in CA. It looks like if I complete the program in California, I can qualify for the PHN, but not if I finish it in AZ. Here is email I received from an enrollment counselor at WGU.
  3. Has anybody completed the RN-BSN program in California for WGU AND obtained the public health certification from the CA BRN? This is my sticking point, and I am getting conflicting information, even from WGU.
  4. I see that WGU is accredited by CCNE, but do not see NLN accreditation. I spoke with WGU today, and was told they are NOT NLN accredited. That is a big bummer, as I was hoping to get my Public Health Nursing certification in Ca. Has anyone done the RN to BSN at WGU and received the Public Health Cert?
