NCLEX coming up FRIDAY!!! AHHH!! Need some pointers!!
I also felt like I was overdoing over doing it the closer the exam got........it was to the point that my family told me to stop studying but I said there were just a few last minute things that I felt like I had to look at such as maternity and peds info. My school used ati throughout the program as well and ati is really good with content. I would say to be sure to look over precautions, priority questions, labs, and know content....I just started focusing at my content towards the end like the last week before the exam....I just feel like you can't go wrong without the content know matter how the question is presented to you......read the questions 3 and 4 times to mKe sure you know what it is asking....I don't know you but I'm pretty sure you will do very well because you seem to have a pretty good study plan....YOU WILL PASS...it's normal to be nervous and also pack a snack because you never know how long you will be in there so on the safe side pack something......and take your time there is know rush......it's also normal to feel like you're dumb when you leave out( for some reason it leaves you with that feeling) So with that being said......YOU'll succeed!

nclex75 or hurst
Personally, Michael linares videos on YouTube were very helpful and informative to me as I studied for boards along with my other material that I had to study from. If there was something that was unclear to me or I had a doubt about I would go back into my books for content and clarify. I didn't watch every video because there were tons but I watched some. Also, I'm not sure if he is an educator or whatever but the information to me was broken down into a level that I could better understand things. The videos were more supplemental for me just as other books that were required that I used along the way were supplemental.

NCLEX-RN February 2014 Passed
I know the feeling actually I believe everyone who has ever experienced nclex knows that feeling I can't even explain it....you just feel sick......I felt baddddd after I took my pn nclex.....I couldn't eat sleep and my stomach had me staying in the bathroom....tmi I know but that's how badddd it makes you feel.....but when I took my rn exam afterwards I wasn't feeling that way because I already knew what to expect....the waiting game is dreadful but I'm sure you will be pleased in 48 hours!

NCLEX-RN February 2014 Passed
You have to wait 48 hours and then the quick results thingy will appear for you to pay. Also, since today is a weekday you may be able to skip the quick results and keep checking your board of nursing depending how fast they are for your license number......it sounds like to me you passed......but I know that is just not enough clarification as a license number or seeing a PASS for quick results.......my quick results showed up the 49th hour.

You can do it.....I was nervous before I took mines and we have to give ourselves more credit....throughout school we have gained so much knowledge.

Last Minute Advice
know your content.....labs, ekg, meds which are difficult but the categories to say the least....relax and read the questions carefully. You will be fine.....it's so normal to feel like you didn't know anything when you leave out....I honestly can say that content is power for nclex rn examination and the pn examination as well.

Quick Results
You sure can get them on weekends. I took my rn exam on Friday feb 14 and got my results on Sunday feb 16. As far as 48hours it was more like 49 for me but the 48th hour I was stalking the site and checked it like every 10 minutes lol.

NCLEX-RN February 2014 Passed
I used the clinical nursing skills and technique book for skills lab....that was a required text. As for nclex I used mainly exam cram and the Saunders comprehensive review book....I didn't even crack open clinical nursing skills and techniques for boards. The clinical nursing skills and techniques book is very helpful for skills lab and I'm sure once I land a job I'll be back in that text for my skills on the floor.

NCLEX-RN February 2014 Passed
I too have experience taking the Nclex-PN. I passed that exam on the first attempt on January 26, 2013. I used exam cram pn throughout my lpn program and it helped me get a good understanding of med surg. I also used exam cram pn to study for the lpn boards as well as my concept maps from class and with the rn boards I used the rn exam cram book. Both books almost all the way similar but the exam cram rn book is more thorough being that the rn can do a lot more than the lpn. Exam cram has been a tool that I have used from he beginning of the lpn program until my completion of my rn program. Also, the Saunders book(for pn the green one and the blue one for the rn) are a life saver for content as opposed to your gigantic med surg book. My pn exam cut off at 85 and I was very nervous being that this was my first and only time ever taking an nclex exam but I passed on the first attempt. The rn exam was much more intense and as I have said before you feel as though you knew nothing. Just know your content and you will be fine. One more thing is that I did while studying for rn boards was watch youtube videos on certain topics that I needed a refresher on....this really helped a lot. One in particular was a youtuber Michael Linares. VERY VERY INFORMATIVE!

NCLEX-RN February 2014 Passed
I took the nclex-rn for the first time on February 14. I got the good pop up on Friday as well when I could force myself too do it. I found out I passed on Sunday February 16. I'm just so glad it is over. All of my hard work and dedication has paid off thus far. I must say it was very challenging and you wonder what you have learned in school. You end up leaving the place thinking that you knew nothing. It's a crazy feeling. I didn't get the lucky 75 questions but I did get to 86 and out of there a little under two hours.
