  1. Yeah I haven't received my information packet either but from my understanding it will be like we have a fulltime job and they suggest you do not work. I hate that I have to accrue more debt but its inevitable. But yeah I was thinking NP at first then I looked into crna but I am undecided as well and probably will be until we get through clinicals
  2. I know I am super nervous as well! Im even more nervous about my commute but im sure I will get used to it. Is anyone going to work during the program? Ive been debating on what to do, dropping down to one or two days or trying to just use loans. Also has anyone thought about what they would like to do after? NP, CRNA, etc...
  3. Hello deepu245, We all applied to the graduate entry program at the university of Toledo. You do not have to have a healthcare background or experience although I think it looks better. But you have to have a BA or BS in something other than nursing. If you look at UTs website graduate entry cnl program it gives you all the information.
  4. Omg! Yay, Rachel I am soo excited for you! I cant wait to start!
  5. Well I think that's good news for sure! I will keep my fingers crossed for you! And I know I will be commuting an hour. I live in Sandusky so its going to be a lot but I think its worth the sacrifice. I thought about moving to Maumee or something but it just wouldn't work for my family. But best of luck, and let me know if they call you!
  6. Okay, and don't get discouraged people can still decline or accept and withdrawal you just never know. Im wondering how many people if any will be commuting like me. Are you from the Toledo area?
  7. I just got the call yesterday that a place opened up and I've been offered a spot so I took it. I'm so excited but I told you id keep you updated. I really hope you get in as well, please let me know. Stay positive!
  8. Yeah I was going to call again after this week as well to see if everyone accepted or if we are still waiting on that. But if I don't hear anything by August I plan to do an ADN program that ive been accepted to then just work my way up that way I guess.
  9. No they didn't give me a date either unfortunately! And I have not heard anything either. I was hoping id hear something this week. Its so frustrating though. Have you thought about what you will do if you dont get a call?
  10. So I think we have a good chance. Just more waiting. I will keep you updated if I get a call. Good luck!
  11. So I called and talked to the secretary today about the status of my application and she also told me I was put on the wait list. Your right, she wouldn't tell me where I was on wait list but i did find out that there are 8 of us. The graduate advisor also called me today and told me I was wait listed and I asked him as well if he could tell me my place on wait list but he said all I can tell you is your in a good spot. So im keeping my fingers crossed! He also said they had several people decline last year a
  12. Omg I knew it was something like that! Im sooo frustrated because when I asked about there being a waitlist I was told that there wasn't one. What number did you call? Id like to call tomorrow and find out where I stand. Im very sad as well and this just holds things up for our future plans because in a way we are still waiting to see if we could possibly get it. Did the lady say how long the other candidates had to decide if they were accepting or not? Or what number you were on wait list? This is very frustrating.
