New Student taking 2 lab sciences this fall
Hi, i am a '05 high school grad that is enrolled in 14 credit hours of pre-nursing courses this fall. my courses include math 110, bio 101, bio 210 (human anatomy), and english 101. my question is, is this normal for a new RN student? math and english are the least of my worries, my biggest fear is taking bio 101 and bio 210 at the same time.... thanx for your help.

Transitioning from ADN to BSN
Typically how long does it take for ADN to be a BSN at a four year institution? Is it possible for a RN to work while going to school full time to get a BSN? thanx

Where to begin education as RN <Tech Vs. university> <<ADN vs BSN>>
I just graduated from high school this past spring and i have a great passion of becoming an RN but i have had a difficult time trying to figure out where to start. Either 2 year school> graduate> work while i go back to school to get my bsn and maybe get my BSN tuition paid by my employer. OR either start a 4 year school to get my BSN. I notice that the 4 year shool requires a 2.8 GPA in all core nursing courses and teh 2 year school only requires a 2.0. Which one is actually the most difficult? Also most people say that nurses can only advance to a higher position if they have ther BSN. i also heard that a nurse that graduated froma 2 year institution will have a better chance of being hired that a nurse from a 4 year university because the 2 year institution focuses more on hands on training where the 4 year institution focuses more on theory, therefore ruling out a big percintage of the hands on training... Is there much of a salary difference for ADN vs BSN? Thanx for your replies..

What type of Automobiles do you drive as a nurse.
List the type of automobiles that you all drive since you've gotten your nursing diploma/degree. Indicate your status as CNA, LPN or RN. :)

High School graduate-what is the best step to take next into my nursing career
I am a 2005 High school grad male, interested in a career as a nurse. I have been accepted to many universities in South Carlolina but have been strongly looking at local Technical Colleges also. I want to become a RN. and i want to least stressful way to do it. Give your advice... My Questions: 1) would i be paid more for a BSN than a ADN as a RN? 2) would it be easier to a tech college and go through the lpn program first....then do the LPN to ADN program? Thanks for your advice. malenursetobe@21
