  1. I agree, i have been an LVN now going to school for my RN. The stress is definitely not worth it. I learnt the hard way, that first i have to take care of myself before i can do the same to others. Plus i only have one life to live....... I hope to live beside sometime soon.
  2. Thanks a bunch. Will they let us know which clinical sites we will be going during orientation?
  3. Thanks. I live 2 hours away so will get a place there. Did you work while going to school? What does it take to complete the program. What advice would you give for someone joining the program
  4. I got my acceptance letter. Orientation on the 4 th. How was the program? How was it living in Paris?
  5. Anyone applying to join the PJC transition program in Jun 2014? They said they would be sending out the letters hopefully next week. Not sure what is the acceptable score or how many available seats are available... Really praying that i get in. FOr those who attended the program, how was it? What was a safe point score to have in order to get in. What were some of your experience from application to going through the program. I found an interesting youtube video online for those interested.
  6. I just spoke to KL, she said they would be mailed out next week possibly. If one is taking any classes in spring, you get 1 point for it regardless of your final grade. It actually works to your advantage if you complete the classes before the application deadline.
  7. I just checked the website. The class for the LVN-RN starts in summer 1. That's in June according to the school calender. An ex student of the placed told me that they sent them just before classes start as they accept the classes taken in the spring semester usually by the 3rd to 4th week of May. Will call to find out.
  8. Last I heard the letters don't come out until end of May as some applicants are still finishing their spring classes. How did you do on your teas exam. That could be the bigger determinant as you need a 70 minimum from each section.
  9. I have applied to the weatherford college in texas for the lvn to rn transition program. Anyone with advice about the place? I have heard some very unbecoming reputation about the place..... that they aren't favourable to minorities.
