  1. Don't feel bad about HESI, 1st time I took the test I scored 780 fortunately my college did not require us to pass with 900. I took so many sample NCLEX tests and I always scored in the 70's I was so worried about failing the NCLEX but in June I sat for the NCEX and I passed. I can't explain why I would do so bad on practice tests but pass NCLEX. I did study for 3 weeks everyday for at least 5 hours. I just kept doing test questions, the books I used were NCLEX for Dummies, Lippencott's, and reviewed the HESI book. I hope that this helps some and good luck, you can do it!!
  2. I think that what you are doing is good, I found that doing those questions and reading the rationals were very helpful but I have to say that when you are actually taking your NCLEX try to remain calm and take your time and don't panic and if your computer does not shut off at 75 don't panic mine went to 100 and I passed so just don't panic. I know that you will be fine and good luck to you!
  3. That is a good plan Im sure that you will do great! Congratulations!
  4. Congratulations! You are one determined nurse that is alot of studying! Why would you not want to return to med/surg can you fill me in on what I should expect. I feel so nervous right now and hope that I can do it. Thanks for your response.
  5. I passed the NCLEX and now I can focus on where I will work, I have been considering working on a Med/Surg floor and would appreciate any advise. Thanks again everyone!! I still can't believe that I passed!
