I talked to lori today after i turned in the drug screen. She said we have activties to do to and plan to stay on campus all week for the first 2 weeks. Instead of 1week. At least 8-5.

Is anybody else confused about the schedule for the first week of class besides me. Do we have to be on campus mon - fri 8 til 5. Or just Monday aug 18 then follow our schedule that we are put in.

Got into Forsyth. I live in Greensboro and it came today! Acceptance deadline is the same as gtcc. next Friday

Info on medical stuff... minute clinic in Greensboro on Guilford college offers vaccines that are needed. tb is 28.00 and flu is 32.00

I got in!!! I just called this morning and talk to Tiffany and it was mailed but I haven't received it yet but it could be my slow mailman. she said we can email or send in the card to confirm our seat. YAAYYYYY!!!! I think emailing to me at this point is the best option.

i wrkd at cone a fews yrs and thats the only problem the students had with gtcc..they are bad with organizing the program. i really want to go to forsyth more than gtcc only due to me working on the icu floor and the drama that came along with the employees.. i rather drive 30mins.i cant see myself wrkn at cone when i finish.. its crazy over there...but do i suck it up and go and my luck i end up on my old floor for clinicals..i would die

43.. if my letter dont come monday. i will have to go up there.. ive been looking at the class that grads this yr and a few of them had to go up to gtcc and accept their seat bc gtcc messd up.

For those that were accepted how many points did you have? I hope my letter didn't go to my old address Ive heard of this happening before. I heard they are 2 sections early morning 8am-12 and lunch 12-3ish. 1 day off a week of class. clinicals are 1 day a week the first semester. classes the other 3 days

FYI I know a student who started last fall. And she recommend you get ahead when it comes to the paperwork that has to be turned in usually sometime in early may. Orientation is usually in June. You also can go ahead and try to find your shot records and find a place that will give you the shots that you need. You also need 2 TB skin test. a physical drug screen background. cost is about 250 depending on where you go for shots and physicals. I worked at Cone so I should have the shots but I have to go over there and get my records asap. Since the HEP b is a series of shots you cant wait til the last minute. Im excited this is way over due for me. I should have been finish with nursing school but life happens. Lets keep each other updated when we hear about mailing out of acceptance letters!!! Goodluck

I have 43 @ GTCC and 161 at forsyth. Tiffany Bryant told me that she should have the letters out 2 weeks after the deadline on Tuesday, So by the end of the month. I don't think I have a problem with getting in either one. she said the students that have came in the semester for a MAR have been lower than 45 on average and not a lot of students as of Wednesday before the deadline have came for a mar at all, but I know Tuesday will be packed with people waiting until the last minute.

Any one applying to GTCC or Forsyth for fall 2014?? If so I will love to start a forum going on the ranking. Points and teas from both school. Taking my teas test Monday. Hopefully I will only need to take it once.
