So I'm a visiting nurse RN..when I started a position at this one new job..I had went out to see this big teddy bear of an old man.sweetest..cutest thing. First day I went with an older conservative nurse. He needed to be intermittently cathed 2xweek for a "buried" inverted member with frequent UTIs. He had a history as well. That day was fine. After about 3 weeks he began to get comfortable with me and when ild walk in he'ld drop his boxers and waddle off to the bedroom ..he always had everything set up(as if the site wouldn't kill you inside) . Then one day he member was giving us a hard time..could not get a grasp to catheterize . He then loudly started saying "come on harold..beth needs you..poke your lil head out let's not give her trouble" i was crying inside lol. Then he started telling me just to.wiggle "him" around a bit and quietly talk to.him and he'll listen".. if this man wasn't a bit developmentally challenged and actually one of the sweetest people I've met, I probably would not have gone back. I spent two years doing this with this guy..and I will not forget "harold" or the shock I felt that first day I met harold.
