  1. I have no nursing experience! I was pre-med when I was obtaining my bachelor's degree; therefore, I have a lot of job shadowing (Dr's, PA's, and NP's). I also had a 3.8 GPA and was involved in quite a few activities! I don't think a CNA class is a bad idea! You can get in without it though if you have a good GPA, involvement in school, and a good interview :)
  2. Hi Eric! Nice to meet you also! I just finished all of the compliances and CITI training! Thank goodness! I just have one TB test left for the immunizations, so I'm excited to get that sent in as well! I haven't been able to view anything for financial aid. I did apply for the scholarships, but that is about it! California! That will be a big change! I've been in Nebraska basically all of my life. It's a good place, and Lincoln isn't a bad city to live in! I do not know anyone else in our class. I think total the accelerated programs have about 45 students on all three campuses (I think!). So I think there will probably be around 15 in our class maybe? That's a guess though! Just order the scrubs and polos! Getting excited! See you in May!
  3. I am also going to be a student on the Lincoln campus for the accelerated program! Let me know if you have any questions about what you need to get done :)
