Check out Christus Santa Rosa Health system in San Antonio. I work there now and I love it! It's a catholic based non-for-profit hospital. There are 5 hospitals including the children's hospital downtown.

mariyahsmommy, it's good to start with transitions into nursing since that's a prereq for all the nursing classes. Also, you can take cultural diversity. Both are good to take together. It can be time consuming but its doable. I'll be finishing up those classes here in the next 2 weeks.

scrubs&studs & eheise73, what classes are you taking for the Jan session? and who are your instructors? I'll be taking NR-305 with professor Tubong and NR-361 with professor Sanchez.

Hey eheise73! yay we'll be starting together:) I'll be taking 2 classes. NUR351 and SOCS 350N (cultural diversity...). My counselor said most students start with both those classes. Do you have to take any History or humanities electives?

Honestly, it took forever to pick which online school I wanted to attend for my BSN degree. I was weighing every possible option. But eventually I chose Chamberlain because I've heard great reviews from friends and from people on AllNurses. Also, I like how I'll have my BSN by July 2015. And it won't be difficult to transfer credits later on if I decide to go for NP later in the future. I was also looking at WGU also and I decided it wasn't for me. Are you still deciding on Chamberlain?

Ok so I work at a rehab/LTC facility and have been working there for maybe 3 weeks. Then just now, I got a call to schedule an interview for a RN residency program. What do I do if I get offered the RN residency job? I feel bad for leaving my current job because they are all so nice and my schedule has been set already. But I know I would benefit more from the residency program. What should I do!?!
