  1. You are so right because where I work the ration is 30:1. And it is VERY stressful. It seems to be going down real fast.
  2. Worked for me as well! Praise God!!! I'm an RN!
  3. Right! I was always told you would do more charting & less patient care but this is crazy. I try to see my patients as much as possible but this has became so difficult.
  4. Is it just me or does anyone else that works in LTC feel like Medicaid is getting ridiculous with the way we should chart on residents? I feel like these companies are wanting us to lie in order to get proper funds in the facility. I have 20 rsdts to chart on everyday. And I find myself writing a book every single time on these people. If it does not fit the criteria that Medicaid or Medicare wants then the facilities will not get paid for services. What's happening to our healthcare system. This takes away from actual patient care.
  5. I just finished using ATI, I took my boards on April 9th. My online instructor was not very cooperative. I was trying to hurry up and finish because I felt like she was delaying my progress. I had graduated from nursing school in Dec. I finally told her I was going to take my boards whether I was finished or not. I use to love ATI when I was going through LPN school. I really think they need to revamp their strategies. I find out if I pass tomorrow. Yikes! Lol
  6. Hello all! I took my boards yesterday April 9th. I did the virtual ATI testing, and I felt like they were only holding me back. After testing for 3 months and I had graduated in December. I felt like I didn't know anything going in because there really is no actual way you can study for the boards. I had almost 20 Sata, a bunch of priority questions, 1 ekg, 1 math, a couple of meds, and 3 of the putting the steps in order ?'s. I kept hearing about a good pop up, and 2 hours after I got home I tried it, I received it. The website would not let me pay for my boards again. Hopefully I find out tomorrow. Does anyone know if this trick still works? I am really nervous at this point. I am praying for some good news.
