  1. Group project and open book tests
  2. No you don't.
  3. 16 weeks. So I have a 10 week class but a week break for week 6 (so that makes it 11 weeks) and then I will have a 5 week class.
  4. Yes Bc you are taking two classes in the semester. Just one at a time.
  5. This semester I am taking patho and evidence based practice. Patho is the first 10 weeks then I will get a week break and take EBP the last 5 weeks. So it's two classes in a semester but only taking one at a time.
  6. I am doing the dual certification route so will get my NP along with a masters in education. It is only 2 extra classes. My first 4 classes (2 NP classes, 2 education classes) were papers, power points, and discussion boards. I think those classes are doable working full time. I am 5 weeks into my patho class and it's tough. So much reading hard to keep up! But people do work full time and take it. Just depends how much free time outside of work you have to study. This class consists of 3 tests, quizzes on weeks there aren't tests, case studies, and a PowerPoint presentation at the end. Patho is the first class I needed the webcam. I started the program in April and didn't need it until the end of August... So 4 months. I bought mine at best buy.
  7. Currently in the FNP program at UTA online. Some classes are 5 weeks some are 10 weeks. But you always get a week break on week 6. I started in April so just started my first medical class patho. The 5 week classes are nice Bc it gets the class over with fast but it's a lot of work. The 10 week classes give you more time to complete the work but is still a lot. I work 2 days a week and have a 2 year old. It's doable just have to make the time.
  8. I started my application I want to day In October and November. Was planning on starting in March but got pushed back to April. I went to WGU for my BSN and it's pass/fail program. So I went in with a 3.0 GPA. But for my ADN I had like a 3.7. Then just sent my transcripts and wrote my essay. Found out I was accepted March 6th started April 6th
  9. I was just accepted to start the FNP program April 2015 at UTA. Was Curious if anyone had any info on the online program. or is anyone currently enrolled? Are you able to work full time, part time, or at all? What are the classes like? When do the clinical portions start? Trying to figure out how to do my work schedule. Any info would be great.
  10. I am starting the BSN-RN program feb. 1st. Got my transcript eval and everything transferred except 14 CU's. So with these 14 and the actual BSN how many CU will I be taking? Little confused on how many CU's the actual program is??
