Ester day was my first day in the MICU and as a nurse ... While drawing blood from an Aline I punctured my thumb. I was so embarrassed I didn't report it. The patient seemed to be low risk. I let it bleed and washed it off. I don't know what to do.

I took it yesterday and got the good pop up and then checked the board of nursing this afternoon and my name and license info was up there .. Still didn't get the pearson quick results.

I was so stressed because my kaplan scores were below what they wanted but I passed! So don't stress! I read the ati comprehensive book, kaplan review book and the hurst book... I felt like nclex was so random so I just give credit to myself not one particular review book.. Thanks for everyone's tip! They were very helpful! Diagnostic 61 Qt 1- 51 Qt2- 63 Qt 3-56 Qt 4- 60 Qt 5- 59 Qt 6- 56 qt 7-59 (I did 100 questions from the qbank with a 58% avg)

Good to know because I'm kind of stressing . I did all the qt's but only 100 of the qb..I read through the kaplan, hurst and ati comprehensive review books though .

Do you know of the actual nclex setup is like kaplan?

The reality is you can take breaks during nclex so when I did qt 7 I did 100 questions then took a 20 minute break did 100 more took a break and finished in about 3 hours

Heard there was a website that shows you the actually nclex screen so you can get used to the setup. Has anyone else heard of it?

I'm taking my nclex Wednesday and I'm wondering if it really takes two business days for the quick results? Because technically that would be Monday..

Feel like I will never actually be ready for nclex...but I am scheduled for the 22. I went to the live ati review and live kaplan.. My scores so far have been below their recommended scores Diagnostic 61 Qt 1- 51 Qt2- 63 Qt 3-56 Qt 4- 60 Qt 5- 59 Qt 6- 56 Just wondering how other people did in regards to kaplan scores vs passing nclex. Not sure if I should postpone taking the boards because I have a job waiting. I feel like I will pass but my scores havent been the best. Thanks!
