  1. Congrats on getting accepted naturallynicole! I'm starting in the spring also! I can't wait. For those students on here that were accepted for Fall could you share with us about how much we are looking at spending on books? And other supplies we may need (example stethoscope). Just trying to prepare for the future!
  2. Yes. It's a regular sized envelope but it's thick. About 5 or 6 papers inside.
  3. Thanks Alliyc! I hope everyone gets good news soon! I know how hard that waiting game is!
  4. I got my acceptance letter today also! My acceptance is for the Spring.
  5. I've thought about calling too. I feel like they will just give us a general timeframe like "by June." Please share what they say if you do decide to call!
  6. This wait is driving me crazy! I haven't heard any new news about acceptances or rejections in like a month :/ Mammabear- I haven't personally but when I went to the info session they said that it does happen sometimes. Did you get wait listed last year?
  7. I got the email on the 7th also.
  8. I got an email asking for my winter quarter grades. It seemed like it was a mass email to a group of applicants. Except on here I haven't heard anymore news of acceptances or rejections. Anyone else?
  9. How I wish they would send out all the acceptances and denials at once! I can't imagine having to wait until June!
  10. Congrats on getting accepted Japerryamn!!! Can you share with us what the envelope looked like and such? Is there a date that you have to respond to the application
  11. Hello! I was told they would probably get around 400ish. That could always change. There's 40 spots for fall and 40 for spring.
  12. Yes. PLU's BSN is a 3 year program. It's doesn't matter if you're a transfer or have attended PLU since freshmen year. The reason why the program is a year longer than other programs in the area is that it has more clinical hours.
  13. I mailed in my application the other day and got a conformation email from PLU that they received it. Were you able to mail yours in yet? Anyone else on here applying to PLU for this coming school year?
  14. Hello! I am also applying for the BSN program at PLU for the 2014-2015 school year! I just finished my application today and will be mailing it off either tomorrow or the next day. I'm finishing the last prereq this quarter (biochem). I too will have a DTA. They said its very helpful if you have one. I also have a 3.9 overall GPA in college course work and a 4.0 GPA in the prereqs. I am applying to a handful of other programs but PLU is my top choice! I've seen in past forums that people have been finding out about their acceptance as early as April. I went to the Jan 7th info session. Most of the topics he talked about was stuff I already knew. He did say a couple things that they would be considering that I didnt even think about... such as they will look at high school transcripts and college for "patterns." Hope this helps! Good Luck! :)
