  1. Hey there, just throwing this out there. If you are accepted to the program, you are already a member of the Nursing Student Association. We would love to have you at the meetings starting now. You would be happily welcomed even before you start the program. The earlier you get involved the better. Involvement in NSA will look great on a future resume. They meet once a month on Thursdays at 3pm. Feel free to call the nursing department to see when future meetings are. It's a great way to speak to current students and teachers and ask all those burning question. Once the semester starts, it's a bit of a whirlwind. Congrats on being accepted!!
  2. I took it. It's all multiple choice. I got an A in the class. You should be able to just use power points to study for exams. Just be very sure to turn all assignments in on time. That's where people lost points for not replying to posts on time.
  3. Yes. If you get an 80% on teas for jjc you are automatically in. Aside from being an adn program, jjc is a very good program.
  4. Hi everyone! Congrats on taking your TEAS test, such a stressful step. I'm a current jjc nursing student going into second semester. I remember stalking this site to try and figure out if I had any chance of getting in. Just to give you an idea, I got a 68.7 comp score (I know, I cried when I left) and an 88.1 reading. I had all my prerequisites done. I got in on my first time applying with that score and a 3.76 gpa. It's doable so don't beat yourself up if you didn't score as well as you hoped. Also, I only got a 50 something on math, terrible. I'm smarter than that, it's just a stressful test. Good Luck, I hope you all get in?
