  1. Thank you for this information! The person I've been talking to at Northeastern said I'd have to take out personal loans.
  2. I'm planning to apply for the Fall '14 program and would be very interested in the same questions as elzabe. Also, I'd be interested in hearing how people feel about the in person vs. online program. I guess I'd also be interested in know how people funded the second bachelor's program since federal loans contribute so little. Thanks!
  3. That's nice! I wonder if it's because you did an accelerated NP program. I've been told that since I'm applying for an ABSN program I won't get most of it funded by the federal government because it's considered a second bachelors degree.
  4. Hi everyone, I'm planning on applying for next years program. Just wondering what everyone is doing for funding? My understanding is that since this is considered a second bachelor's degree federal student loans aren't really available to cover the cost. I'm just trying to figure out how to pay for these programs and thought I'd see what others are doing. Good luck to all of you!!!
  5. Hey coast2coast! I'm currently living in Boston and looking at the programs here. How did you get it all paid for by fed loans? My understanding is you can't. My husband is currently a PhD student so if I'm desperately trying to figure out how to pay for an ABSN program with fed loans. Also, what program are you in? I'm currently looking at NEU, MGH, and UMass Boston. Sorry for all the questions! Any info you've got would be greatly appreciated!!!
  6. Hey everyone! I'm currently applying for next fall and spring. I'm just wondering how everyone is paying for these programs? They are quite costly and financial aid doesn't cover the entire cost... feeling a little discouraged.
