Hey everyone! So to give a little background info, I am 26 years old, taking my pre reqs here in TX at a local community college, and am gearing things towards my BSN. I currently work full time as a tech at a hospital, 3 shifts a week. Well, my question is, do nursing programs look at how many credit hours you take in a semester? The only reason I ask, is because right now I am taking 6 hours, and was thinking of increasing to 9 hours next semester, and then increasing course load again after that semester. I am a first time college student if it matters, I just didn't want to get in too much over my head the first semester and risk getting low marks. But aside from that, I was just curious if nursing programs would want to see a heavy course load on your transcripts, or if they just care that you had high marks completing the pre reqs. I am aware we have to take a HESI, which I am not worried about.
