  3. Hello, Just curious! I am currently on the waiting list for the nursing program and I am working on getting onto the accelerated. I have just recently took Anatomy and Physiology one and am now taking two in the fall. I didn't do too well on the first one I am terrible at taking tests, but if you asked me to recite it forward and backward I can explain it. Anyways I am trying to be more on top of things this semester. Any suggestions on how to better prepare myself for this course and Microbiology?Or any suggestions on how to take the tests better?
  4. So any advice for handling these types of situations?...I'm in the process of becoming a patient companion. Reading this is making me think oh boy I hope I'm strong enough for this.
  5. Its an ADN, because all the other programs are competitive( I have a 2.9 gpa) figured at least with this one I am on a list and know I will eventually be up.
  6. Thank you :) any suggestions to help me get a job in the hospital with little experience? I have been told I do great on the interviews but then get the " choose another candidate email."
  7. Hello just a quick question, So I am currently on the waiting list for three years( seems like forever!I am so anxious!). My goal is to become a neonatal nurse practitioner. I volunteered in the NICU and the Pediatrics last year and loved it ,it is what inspired me to become a nurse. I am currently applying for nurse tech or unit secretary. I was perviously a medical receptionist but moved for school. So my only experience is that. Anyways my question is what else can I do while I wait? Is there anything that I can do that will help me later? especially to become a neonatal nurse?
  8. thank you guys! it means a lot!
  9. Thank you!
  10. Hello quick question i know i see other people asking about retaking a course but i didnt know where to put this or what one i should put it on. Anyways i have to retake A&P 1 i received a D+ , i was to busy trying to pass honors A&P i slacked on this course. Do others look down on this, having to retake the course??? I am kinda beating myself up over this.
  11. I have to retake A&P1 missed it by two points! its cool to see that i am not the only one to have to re take classes. I was thinking the same thing, i failed this class how in the world am i ever going to pass the other classes or even the nursing classes. I was beating myself up really bad for it. Anyways its cool to see im not alone
  12. Thank you! :)
  13. Hello! I'm on a nursing list for 3 years,I'am taking A&P 1 and 2 while i wait. i have also been trying to apply to jobs such as patient transporter and unit sectary but haven't had any luck so far. I have been trying for these jobs because i would like the experience. Anyways i have become very anxious about my future and developed a lot of what if's. I was wondering what other tasks i can accomplish to help me with my experience, skills and all that for the nursing degree. My career goal is to become a neonatal nurse practitioner. Thanks! (sorry if this sounds like i am rambling :-P)
