I so missed that piece of info.... I'm so out. I'm in tier 4 with hspa score of 21. Non profit, non disp. share hosp falls into tier4.

Will we still get notified if we don't get it? I Just would like to know when to stop worrying 😔

@ mmc51264, BSN, RN I did some research for my area. Median pay is 98-105,000 so of course there are highs and lows. I was just a little disappointed in their offer especially knowing where I am at now salary wise...At this point I'm just hoping to get in somewhere soon for the experience, but I can't take a pay cut. These student loans will not allow it! Best of luck to you on starting school in Jan! :)

Hi guys, I received my MSN in Informatics Dec.2014. I haven't had a job yet but recently got an offer that I declined. They offered me about 72,000 which is lower than what I currently make. I really wanted the job but cannot afford a pay cut. I was thinking INF. RNs started out with at least 90....am i wrong? I guess it also depends on where you live....Any info or experiences?! Thanks

Hi guys! i'm so glad that I found a thread that is talking about this. My nerves are so bad. I haven't heard anything as of yet. My facility is a 20 and my ratio is about 95%. I browsed through the previous threads and it looks like a lot of NPs were picked... I have my MSN but in informatics. My app still says under review. I'm also freaking out BC im going to Jamaica from Aug 1 to 11 and may not have internet access!! Best of luck to everyone! Keep us posted !

I really think this is a great field RIGHT NoW. My fear is what will happen to the informatic nurse once the big transition to EHR occur and everyone is trained. Of course there will still be a demand for them, but it will not be nearly as big. I am currently in school for informatics and graduate in 2014 but I am starting to feel nervous..... I know there are other positions NI can fulfill but even those look scarce. Does anyone else feel like this?
