  1. I took a hybrid AP 2 class as well as an online math class and both show up in the application as counting towards my calculated gpa

  3. I think with my gpa being so low that I definitely wouldn't be competitive enough to get in at the Woodlands, but I'm going to see an advisor tomorrow at Huntsville. I was wondering if you could do maybe two applications one for each location. It would make sense if maybe after you submit one for one location that you may be able to submit another one to the other? I am going to purchase the study package for the TEAS online. https://www.atitesting.com/ati_store/product.aspx?zpid=1194 I've heard that it really helps. Has anyone else taken the TEAS yet?
  4. My gpa is a 3.0 and im applying for huntsville! The woodlands would be more convenient for me but it seems like it'll be harder to get into!
  5. Hey everyone! I will be applying for Fall 2015, however I feel like it may be a long shot for me because my GPA is on the lower end. I have not taken my TEAS test yet either so I'm not sure how that will go! I'm finishing up my last two prereqs this semester. I just barely decided to apply for the Fall program and was originally planning on waiting until Spring 2016 so I feel like I may be a bit behind the rest of you, but good luck to everyone applying!
  6. I wont be applying until the next application process for the Spring 2015 program so I still have a long road ahead of me! I'd say its never too early lol! Good luck to both of you!
  7. Thats almost exactly what my gpa is right now :/ how long did it take you to bring it up? Unfortunately I can't pm you it won't let me for some reason! Thank you for the encouragement! I believe I can meet my goals its just proving to other people that I'm serious about these goals! what is that pharmacology class? i would love to be able to add another class this semester to help boost my gpa!
  8. Hey, First of all congratulations to everyone who got into the program! I am hoping to apply this summer for the 2015 spring semester and was wondering if anyone could possibly give me some advice or tips about the application process! Im already soo nervous and know I have a lot of work ahead of me for the next year but now that i have found a goal and direction I am ready to push forward! So here are my questions! What was the hardest part of the application process? What resources did you use to study for the HESI and when would be a good time to take it? My grade point average is very low right now because my first few semesters I had no idea which direction I wanted to go and so I stopped going to my classes and as a result used all my drops and failed a lot of my classes. I took 4 online classes last summer tho and got a 4.0 for that semester so I know that I can do just as well in my next couple semesters. When I finish the next two semesters (spring 2014 and summer 2014) if i meet me goal of a 4.0 i will have a 2.0 gpa for my total gpa but a 4.0 for my prereqs for the program so will they judge me more on my total gpa or just the gpa for the prereqs? Like I said, I know I have a lot of work ahead of me for the next year and beyond but I am ready and motivated for this commitment! Sorry for the super long post and any tips, advice, and answers will be greatly appreciated! Good luck to everyone as you start your nursing classes!
