  1. Just got the email!! I'm in also!
  2. that's probably what happened. hopefully we'll hear in this next outgoing batch! Stay positive!
  3. I just called and spoke with someone from admissions. She said they will be notifying in weekly batches. The people who applied by the original November 1st deadline were the first batch. The people who applied by the second deadline, December 1st I think? Will hear in this next batch, and she wasn't sure if that was today or next week when they come back from the long weekend.
  4. Oh okay, I've been checking my email like a mad woman haha. I also haven't heard back, but I applied mid November. Staying positive! Congrats to everyone who was accepted.
  5. around what time did you receive your email?
  6. Hi, I need some advice! Nursing is my passion, it's the only career for me. If I'm not a nurse .. well actually that's not an option. Anyways fresh out of high school I got accepted into currys nursing program with an awful financial aid packet, some of you may know how expensive the school is and how crucial it is to hopefully get a good financial aid award. So I, now regretting it, turned the offer down. I instead went to UMass Boston as a health science major. Completed my first year and then when going back for my second year, again financial troubles arose causing me to take a year off. I'm going back this fall, 2014. But I'm a little lost on what to do about my nursing dream. I plan on applying to UMB's nursing program as an ICT. I took my teas and scored proficient. I'm hoping to get in, PRAYING that I get in. But I wanted a back up plan. What should I do if I'm not accepted? Continue going to UMB, take classes as a health science major & apply again with hopes of getting in? Or go to a CC & take pre-reqs? Or any other ideas? I'm pretty open and willing to try and do anything to make my dream become a reality! Thanks in advance :)
