Harris Health System RN Residency Program
I got a call today for LBJ. The interview is March 22. Does anyone know if they make the calls separately for each facility or is this the only interview I have for Harris health?

My classes are also unavailable. Do you know for what class this is for and what book?

No problem. Since our Concepts professor already emailed us the book list for that class, I'll just skip that one: Pharmacology- Pharmacology for Nursing Care, 8e (ISBN 1437735827) Assessment- Bates' Nursing Guide to Physical Examination and History Taking (ISBN 0781780691) Student Laboratory Manual for Bates'... (ISBN 1451183755) Pathophysiology- Pathophysiology, 5e (ISBN 1455726508) They told us we can get earlier editions (although to check with our professors just to make sure) but for Assessment, we need the ones listed. Let us know what they tell you. I'll probably call next week if it still hasn't arrived.

Didn't they say during orientation we had to upload some items onto blackboard or did I misunderstand? I think it was our health insurance card, our blue card, and our CPR card.

During the CPR class, they gave us a book list. However, they said that it should, and I quote directly from the list, "Not to be considered an exhaustive list of required/recommended textbooks or a replacement syllabi." So it might not be 100% accurate. Btw, have you guys uploaded your stuff to blackboard already? I can't seem to find the place we're suppose to do it at. And for those of you who did your fingerprints the first week of December, have you received the blue card? I'm starting to worry it got lost.

Is the drug testing gonna be done during orientation or were we suppose to receive an email after registering for the test with the location, date and time?

Hi! I'll also be attending the Houston campus this spring and I have a few questions. For the Drug and Background Check form we have to sign and return by Nov 18, are we suppose to drop off the form personally or can we mail it to her? And if the latter, what's the exact mailing address? Also, for the Immunization Record form that we have to fax to Denton by Dec 4, are we suppose to fax the form along with all the lab reports or just the form since they'll look at all our original paperwork at advisement? And finally, does anyone have any suggestions of affordable places to get the titers done? Thank you!
