  1. You should be able to transfer some of the general requirements e.g. English, social sciences, etc. But then again, call the school you are interested in and ask for more specific details.
  2. Very inappropriate by comparing RPNs with monkeys
  3. Where do you find a nursing agency? Sorry if I sound dumb or anything. :-)
  4. Best of luck to you! If you happen to have any questions, feel free message me since I have lots of friends taking accounting.
  5. Yeah, it totally makes sense. Practical nursing is more realistic for me since I am have decent amount of loans from my first degree (going into my 4th year of study). So, I don't really have an option for BScN. By the way, just in case you didn't know, there is an option for January admission into practical nursing and it isn't too late to apply. Also, I've heard that RPNs in Ontario/Canada in general have an increased scope of practice, and I think it's pretty good route for you choose this route instead of BScN. I feel like four years is a long commitment, maybe you'll love/hate nursing after the 2-year practical nursing program. Oh, may I ask what programs you have applied to for practical nursing?
  6. Haha, you are right! It's totally subjective, lol.
  7. I don't know but I heard Centennial has the best RPN program in Ontario, but I could be wrong. :-o
  8. Oh, trust me, the 4 hours you'll spend each day commuting is going to kill you. I'm attending University of Toronto right now for Political Science and it takes me around 3 hours each day to go back and forth from school. But honestly, I think George Brown might be better for you since it is located in DT Toronto if I'm not mistaken. Have you applied to other schools?
  9. Thanks :-), well I've heard from some people that Seneca has the worst lab facility, but I'm not too sure. Oh, how far do you live from Seneca? It'll take me 2 hours to get to the campus from where I live.
  10. yeah, I'm going to Centennial instead since it's much closer to where I live. It's going to be worth it in the end
  11. Yeah, definitely. Why did you choose practical nursing over BScN though?
  12. I've been accepted as well, but I'm not going since it's too far for me.
  13. If you are planning to attend college for accounting, it'll take approximately 2-3 years. But, if you are going to university for accounting e.g. Commerce, Business, then it will take 4 years full time studies.
  14. Are you going to college or university for accounting? I have friends at UofT and Ryerson's full time accounting program right now.
  15. Night school here in Ontario is indeed free, I can confirm it since I took it myself last semester! *Not for college courses, but OP is talking about high school pre-requisites in English, Biology, Chemistry, and Math.*
