I agree with you. Further, the nurses who mind their own business and display genuine concern are not noticed. Only the squeaky wheel (so to speak). I have found the women in general like to stir up trouble. I have avoided this situation for most of my working years. Now that I am a newly graduated RN I am not looking forward to the individual conflicts that inevitably arise when women are in a group working atmosphere. There is always at least one who can not, or will not, just do her job and leave the gossip and meanness thing alone. Generally these types like to have some type of turmoil going at all times. I try to ignore them, if possible. I am not, however, past defending myself (verbally) if it becomes necessary.

Do you think that experience critria should be met before a new RN grad can obtain a Bachelors degree? (One, Two years experience)? Or, is it alright for a new grad to be able to obtain their Bachelors degree during the semester immediately after graduation if they have taken the required subjects?

Are there any travel nurse opportunites for US nurses to work in New Zealand or Australia?
