Sorry to hear about the bad schedule. I work 2 7-3 shifts, 2 11-7 shifts, and 1 3-11 shift. It gets confusing at times but it works. It did take a while to get to learn when to sleep. Some days you get 3 hours sleep some you get 10 hours. It all works out but I think it is hard on your system. I've thought about every weekend 7-7's but I don't think I'm ready to give up every weekend yet. Good luck with rotating shifts.

How can anyone deny the weight gain when you work 11-7? That snack machine just looks so so tempting at 4am. Just got off 11-7 for 7-3 last month. I've lost 5 lbs because I skip lunch so I can get home for the kids on time. I know, not the best of ways to loose weight but for now I'll take it. It can't last forever and by then I'll have gotten used to sleeping at night and eating right again. Good luck!

Thanks Doey, KmRn, and JillR. I did check out spectrum but I still haven't decided. I am going to do some form of distance learning but not sure who my degree will be from. I wish I could do it the ordinary way and go back to school but it's just not in the cards yet and I'm sick of waiting and wasting time. Wish me luck! It's going to be a long ride, hopefully not bumpy?

I wasn't aware you could take washing your uniforms off on your taxes! I did know about claiming your new uniforms but how do you claim washing them? Do you claim it on State or Fed? Thanks for the help, got to start thinking about taxes now that it is the New Year!

I can't fit going the usual route to college so I will have to check out distance college. Help with info please!

I'm considering trying to get my degree via distance learning. Has anyone tried it or heard anything good or bad? I am an LPN now but want my RN. Would appreciate any info Thanks :confused
