Where else would you like an American to be treated?

Thank you but I do stand by my opinion. I work with nurses daily who are just merely concerned about what the new healthcare bill will do to there "Private time". I wonder how effective as a nurse can you be when the focus remains in "private time". I meant no harm its just you guys are where I'm fighting to get to. I've worked in healthcare since I was 17 years old and the change in the behaviors in nurses are appalling. I understand workload viruses and thankless patients but as nurses and future nurses if the patients don't have us who will they have

But I'm American I'm a veteran and I'm in nursing school I work for the VA so my job is already solidified and my mother and grandmother were and still are nurses so I have every right to my opinion

I think you are selfish and I can't believe that you are a nurse. This is probably why the healthcare system is so screwed because of healthcare providers with your mentality. Did you get into nursing for the money?

God bless you but most people feel they are not addicts because they have not used illegal drugs but an addict is a person who through drug or alcohol use , life has become unmanageable and from this post your life appears unmanageable.

I have a healthcare waiver from the Illinois dept. of healthcare registry. I was wondering will I be disqualified from entering nursing school based on my past history. I have a BA in psychology and I want to become a psychiatric nurse. I work in a local VA hospital so finding a job will not be an issue it's getting accepted into nursing school. My question is do Illinois nursing schools accept healthcare waivers and allow students to enroll with previous offenses?. My offenses are from 2006.

You have the intelligence just not the confidence. You have overcome a lot and you can conquer this as well. Give yourself a break and give yourself a chance and your chance a chance!! Good luck to you and at least you have gotten into a nursing program.

Hello PTTU I'm in the process of completing the required prerequisites for the BSN evening/weekend program at ResU. I'm extremely nervous. I'm not as marvelous as some of the people in these posts. I have a 2.9 GPA and I'm a mom. I work for the VA as a counselor and I'm a vet, but outside of that I have determination and diligence. I have a BA from DePaul and I was wondering how difficult is the evening program because I work right down the street from campus and I must get into the evening program? I'm grateful for your time and your posts. They really do help people like me who only asset is passion for nursing!
