  1. I absolutely love your encouraging words. Thank you so much. I do believe that I am able to pass. But I am so exhausted right now that I don't even know when to take the NCLEX again. How much time did you let pass until you tried it again?
  2. Hello, I am a foreigner who didn't know much English when I first took my NCLEX. I was just desperate to get more time to study (I didn't want the Board to destroy my file), so actually the first time doesn't really count. Then, after having two babies, I decided to give it my all and studied for four month every day as soon as the LO would be asleep. I used Saunders Review and Q&A and also a little bit of Kaplan. I felt prepared, although I didn't really know what to expect. I ended up crying and begging the computer to finally shut off. I was exhausted and frustrated and honestly, towards the end all I can think off was my son who needed me to nurse him. So the computer shut off at 220 Q and I knew I had failed. My review letter showed that I was in all areas right below passing. I reapplied, waiting for a green light from the Board. I really want to pass this year, or let me say, I really want to take the NCLEX again this year. But I am scared, I don't know what to think, what to do and most important what to study with now. I have heard people talking about study material from NCSBN? I would truly appreciate any advice or help. Thank you.
  3. Well, here I am, sitting at home with a huge headache , feel like crying... I started my exam this morning at 8am. After 4 hours I couldn't help but pray : "please, please just shut off..i can't anymore" . I had tears in my eyes. I felt like the questions where the same..all hard..all crazy..never learned any of what they where asking.. It was so frustrating. And the computer kept giving me questions..didn't stop. I thought "well, if i get them all wrong then the computer should be shutting off soon..right?" Well, it went all the way to about 230 questions or so..after 5 hours the computer finally shut off. Although relieved to be done, I knew I must have done poorly... I started crying...went home and nursed my baby who had been waiting for that long to get this breakfast I have tried the PVT but it goes all the way to the credit card page.. Although Pearson Vue's page says they are undergoing routine maintenance at 5pm until 10pm , I truly believe I have failed. So, this is my sad story. Good luck to all the other soon-to-be-nurses. This is what PP has on his page: SPECIAL NOTICE: This website is scheduled to undergo routine maintenance on Saturday, 12 October from 5:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. CT. During this time, you may not be able to schedule, reschedule or cancel test appointments. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

I don't know what to expect.
  6. Thank you-I truly hope so.arrggrr,so nervous!
  7. Thank you so much-just in time because my exam is tomorrow morning. I am freaking out-i know, probably like everybody else. My weakness are meds.. I just don't remember them all.. I really liked studying with Saunders-hates Kaplan. Few years ago I invested in some Kaplan material and never liked it. I did around 70% on Saunders most of the time. Just est from Kaplan and did only 60 %. Do I need to worry? Any advice for my last day?
  8. Lolashine: I am from Germany and know exactly how you feel. I feel the exact same way and my exam is in two days. I think it doesn't matter what other people say or do on the exam even if they are english speaking. Because even in your country are people who don't pass right away. I agree the NCLEX is a pain in the ... But we eventually get through this although our native language. Is a different one. As long as you put lots of work, dedication and love into it then I believe we should be fine. Maybe it takes two or three trials for us to pass. But then at least we know where we are standing and what area we need to work on or focus on. I would say: go for it! Wish me luck Saturday and I will let you know how it went.
  9. Thank you miniangel2 and cjdmomma. 2 more days...... I will let you know. I am nervous....
  10. It's almost time for you. I know you will do great. Stay calm-breath!! Don't forget :) Talk to you after your exam!
  11. Good.. As long as they are not harder... Thank you for your reply. Keep me in your thought this Saturday. I will post how it went afterward. What country are you from originally?
  12. Did you feel like your study questions were as hard as the nclex exams questions?
  13. Thank you. You are right. Let's be confident and do our best :) good luck to you. I will keep you in my prayers. Let me know how it went!!!!
  14. Congratulations. Well, that cheers me up :) I am a foreigner myself and about to take my exam (3 days left). I am extremely nervous and feel so unprepared although I have been studying for months. Any thoughts?
  15. I have been studying with Saunders exclusively, the review book and the Q and A book with Cd. I think I did nearly 4000 Q. But although you would I should be prepared I so don't feel like it. My exam is in 3 days and I am looking for some encouraging words... Anybody??
  16. I totally feel you. I am taking my NCLEX on the 12 and I am as scared as you are. I have been studying with Saunders exclusively and my scores are around 70%. Is that good? I don't know... I come across questions where I have no clue what they are talking about and some are so easy where I ask myself-are they serious? I have done about 4000 questions..you would think I am so prepared..but why do I feel so unprepared? I would appreciate some thoughts as well... Good luck fmaca88! Tell me how your exam went.
