My road to Nclex success
I understand how you feel before I took mine some people tried to discourage me telling me how people who had their nursing education here struggle to pass the exam. I don't think there is anything different from what you were taught in your country and what is taught here except for some cultural things related to nursing. to tell you the truth i did not see anything different form what i was taught in nursing school and what I learnt whiles preparing for this exam. what I would advice you do is master how to use the decision tree and how to descriminnate between answers especially with prioritization questions. If I was able to make it You can also make it. All the best

My road to Nclex success
thats how i felt too but i think studying for months is okay that is if you are good on the contents and also good at using the test taking strategies. the strategies actually helps you to choose the right answer if you are not familiar with what the question is actually asking and also helps with SATA questions

My road to Nclex success
First of all i would like to thank God, my friends and family and of course all every body here on allnurses. I'm a foreign grad so I started by registering with CGFNS for evaluation of my transcript. then I had to take the TOEFL exams even though all my education was in english including textbooks. The BON I registered needed me to take it because the country i had my education from was not part of the countries they exempt from the english proficiency test. I took the TOEFL test and scored 90 which was higher than the minimum required score of 82 so I became eligible to take the Nclex after submitting my application together with my FBI and BCI checks. I registered with pearsonvue and after about 7 weeks i received my ATT from My BON. I scheduled and took the exams on August 10, 4days before my birthday. the computer shut down after 210Q I felt good because I thought i was very sure of my last question. I got home tried the trick and it took me straight to the CC page. I felt like I sword had be driven through my heart. but I put myself together after 3days and started studying again registered with pearsonvue and submitted another application to my BON in about a week I received my ATT and CPR. my CPR showed that I was near passing in 4 areas, above passing 3 areas and and below passing in one area.I did not want to wait too long so i rescheduled to take it again on september 27. 47days after my first attempt. I used the same resources i used the first time solving and reviewing more questions. On the test day I got to the center 30 mins before my appointment time. After 75Q the computer shut down. i got the good pop up after doing the PVU trick, got my quick results 48 hrs later and today I received my Official results from the BON resources i used Kaplan (did all the question trainers and sample test). good resource for answering questions Saunders 5th edition( solve 1000+questions) good resource for content and for those of you in Ohio I also used Mark klimek Nclex RN review class. (this class really helped me a lot. I hope this long story of mine will encourage some you preparing to take the exam any time soon. You can make it if you made it through nursing school. All the best

I took my exams the first time last month shut off at 210Q and failed. I was above passing in 1 area below passing in 2 areas and near passing in 5 areas. I was so devastated since I studied all summer. I how ever put myself together after 2days and started studying again I used the same resources from the first time(Kaplan and Saunders). I took it again today and got the good pop up after 75Q. now anxiously waiting to check the unofficial results. you can do it since you know how the real exams is like. all the best
