I called USA Nursing Friday they said they are hoping to get the letters out by the end of the month

not guaranteed no, everyone keeps saying "oh you'll get in if you got wait listed" but I am not giving my hopes on that. Someone at UAH got me to sign up for a class.. I paid for it and everything and I didn't get it and I don't need that class at south so I learned the hard way haha. When I got wait listed I believe it was a 2.7 but I replaced 2 Cs with As since then

No he quit nursing school, which DRIVES ME CRAZY! haha all theses people deciding nursing isn't for them once they took someone else's chances on getting in drives me crazy. me too this is only my second time applying and I got wait listed last time but im changing majors if I don't because I need to graduateeeee

Of course I will. I have no idea. I have heard as long as you have a 3.0 you will get in, but it really just depends on the number of applicants. I just wish south wasn't so slow with the letters. I have a friend who got in last summer and he couldn't remember the specific date but he said he got his at the end of March.

Could you or anyone else who reads this let me know ASAP if you get your letter. You don't even have to say if your accepted or not im just going craaazzzzzy:nailbiting:

I applied for traditional BSM for summer at south! Im itching to get the dang letter haha.

kissesnhugs, I really hope it comes tomorrow I am going crazy! Thank you for the positive thoughts! YES it is VERY hard to get into, I know people who applied like 5 times before getting accepted. Luckily USA accepts Fall, Spring and Summer and usually Summer is the best time to get in. Most of the time you have to have like 3.3 to get in and you have to have everything done before applying; CPR, shots and all that stuff. UAH application was really easy compared to South and unlike UAH theres no professional statement or anything and the application is like 13 pages long!

AHHH I am so excited for yal!!! I live WAAAY down south right now and I honestly cannot remember where I sent it to and my parents are gone this weekend hopefully I will receive something today!!!

Thank you clsmommy for that heads up. I didnt even think about that when posting. I finally received my letter from USA, I am on the waiting list. Which I guess is better than being denied haha! I am still hopeful for UAH and I am going crazy waiting for those letters!!

REALLY?!!! That is the best news I have heard all day! I almost didn't apply to UAH because I didn't take the HESI because I thought it was mandatory. I will be sure to let you know what my letter says. I am hoping I receive it before Friday because I will be at Talladega Friday til Monday and that would drive me INSANE not knowing and too nervous for my roommate to tell me the results! hahaha. It would be nice to know some people going into the program since I do not go to UAH either. Ill be checking this daily so post as soon as you receive it hopefully it wont take to much longer for me to receive way down here:up: good luck!

I didn't even take the HESI, the first million times I looked over the application I thought it just said priority consideration so this is why I'm not sure I got in or not. Once I realized it was needed I was home in Decatur for a funeral so it wasn't worth taking because I know I would of done badly. The class is Human Development. USA doesn't require this so I haven't already taken it and Ms. ***** emailed me asking about it and she found that LSU online had it where I could take it at my own pace and she said as long as I had it done by January it would be no problem. She couldn't tell me if I was accepted or not though so I have been going crazy. I wouldn't get nervous about her not talking to you because she only did to me because I was missing a class. I just hope I didn't pay all this money and stress over this class and not get in when I could just take it next semester but my fingers are crossed!

I just randomly searched for anyone been accepted into UAH nursing school spring 2014 and i found this haha. It is nice to know I am not the only one freaking out! Kissesnhugs you just made my day !! I have been checking my mail like 5 times a day because I had no idea when they would send letters! Did the Ms. ****** contact anyone else about making sure they had a class done by January? She also found the class near me down here in Mobile. I cant tell if this is a good sign or not, I want to feel like it is but then again I dont want to give my hopes up!
