Look for group Frontier Nursing University class 128!

I will go over and start our facebook page now. I started to look for one the other day but didn't find one then got side tracked. Can't wait for August!

Did anyone actually apply for 128. I am in that pile of applications!

Mine was actually on hold from October due to the bon in Maryland. I am ok with waiting a bit longer. Frontier just feels right!

Got a reply from frontier. Turns out 127 and 128 were being collected at the same time. My application is for 128. So I stressed too soon. And I have to do it again.....good luck and congrats to the 127 class. I have 2 more months to wait. ......ugh!

Is there anyone who still hasn't heard yet? Just wondering.........

Happy Monday...perhaps the wait will be over sometime this week???? The wait gets worse by the hour!

Again since I have done this before....my experience is closer to 6 weeks! I hate to give bad news. Maybe it will be this Friday!

Glad to see I'm not the only one who is made crazy by the wait..........

I am coming from Maryland. If by chance you end up driving from NY, let me know, I would be on the way and we could meet up and perhaps ride together for the last 5 hours! My previous experience says they do notifications end of the day!

I believe they do all notifications via e-mail.

Our call pay so far is similiar, but the way you are paid for call is way different. Good information to know!

When I wasn't able to go in October when I made it in, my application was on hold, to be reviewed with another batch of applicants is my understanding. So it's the same application (I didn't have to resubmit). I just have to wait some more! Hopefully all this waiting will be worth while!

Haha! Last time I called weekly and became a huge pain I am certain. I think 6 weeks before frontier bound is April 28th? That was what they used to say they strived for 6-8 weeks. Maybe call April 14 just to check progress? I was a mess the first wait. Did you apply for fnp or Cnep?

I am in rural Maryland hospital that is currently looking in to it's call situation. Like anywhere, morale is an issue. We currently make $2.50/hr on call, and make straight time when working until we get to 40 hours. We work a lot of call, and tend to feel beat up much of the time. Management is looking to see how our call pay "measures up". Any thoughts?

last go around it was less than 6 weeks before the frontier bound date, but there was an exceptionally large application group at that point. If applications are not as plentiful, there may be less of a wait. I really hope so. The wait the first time around was horrible.

I have a complicated history with frontier! I originally applied for FNP 116 and waited and waited, then wait listed. I was eventually accepted into 118, only to find out that my state (Maryland) required some new kind of license and I couldn't go:( Now the requirements are all clear for Maryland and I am waiting again for 127! I started the MSN program at St Josephs College of Maine, but FNP at frontier is where I want to be. Good luck with the wait, it is a tough one. Hope to see every one in June!

Ryan, Sorry I didn't respond sooner...it has been a busy couple of weeks. Two weeks ago almost, I got an acceptance email, and then within minutes, an email explaining that Frontier could no longer accept students from Maryland. I was devastated. I hope to start a MSN program while they get it all sorted out. That way I don't lose my momentum:( It was listed on the admissions web site, but I didn't even look there after I applied. Needless to say it was disappointing! Good look at FB. Wish I would be joining you!

Ryan, I heard back from Frontier today.....while you were 4th and accepted, and I was 5th, I am now somehow second on the list. I'm not sure how that works as my math makes me first. Still trying to think positive thoughts! ugh... still keeping fingers crossed!
