  1. @goldenheart10 @jdc2013 Hey guys sorry for the late response. I think the live scan schedule I got only applies to the LAC+USC clinical site. I received an email last tuesday regarding the appointments for the live scan.
  2. Is anyone else scheduled to do their live scan tomorrow? the 3rd? If so, does anyone know the exact location where they'll be doing the live scan? I called last week to schedule my live scan and lost the directions.
  3. Hey. Just wanted to let you guys know that I applied to LA county, LACC, and LAVC. I already got an acceptance letter from LA county on the 8th. I also got a phone call from LAVC today. I declined the offer for LAVC because my first choice was county. I haven't heard anything from LACC yet.
  4. I applied for the generic program. I had a total of 80 or 81 points and I got a 75.3 on my teas. I can't wait to meet you all!!!
  5. Did you guys receive a mail from county?? I just got my letter in the mail today from county and I got in! I didn't expect a letter this early. I was expecting to hear back from county in late-november or early december.
  6. Hello. I'm also new to this thread and I wanted to share some news. I also got a mail from county today... and I've been accepted for Spring '14. I'm not exactly sure how many points I have in total. It was either 80 or 81 and my teas score was 75.3%. I thought county would be sending their letters in early December but maybe they decided to speed things up. I also applied to LACC and LAVC but I haven't heard from them yet. Anyone else get a letter from county??
  7. Hey Rachelmacy, what other schools did you apply to?
  8. @jdc2013 thanks for the info. I will keep my fingers crossed!
  9. Hi jdc2013! Wow, 87 points is more than enough. I'm 100% sure you'll be accepted to county. When you say last August, do you mean August 2012 or 2013? If the cut-off score was 78 then I would feel much more relaxed about my total points. I really hope for the best!
  10. Hello! I'm also applying to LA County for the Spring 2014 entry. I also applied to LACC and LAVC. I just got my teas v score today and barely made the 75% score... enough to get the full 20 points. Currently, I have 80 or 81 points. My first choice of school is LA county. I'm hoping I have enough to accepted
  11. I actually went to their info session back in August. One of the counselors just goes over the basic requirements for the nursing program and they give you an appointment date to meet with the counselor one on one. I was actually going to apply for trade tech... I wonder if its too late to apply for that school...
  12. jofapcastillo Did you apply to any other school besides la county?? I'm applying to LACC and LAVC.
  13. Thanks jofapcastillo! I hope you did well on your teas!
  14. Hi! I'm also applying for the La county College of Nursing Spring 2014. I was wondering if anyone else has not taken the TEAS V yet. Unfortunately, I just got the mail about taking the TEAS today. I'm hoping to take test test on 9/29 at the critical care training center in north hollywood. I hope it won't be too late. I know the deadline to turn in all scores is 10/1.
