Hey yall. I'm in the program now. I had a 3.52 GPA undergrad from UF, I think a 3.2 nursing pre-rec GPA, 1.5 years experience in a med/surg office with direct patient care, 8 years experience serving/managing/bartending, don't remember my GRE but I know my math was super high and my reading was one point below the minimum. I had great letters of rec from two doctors I worked for, one who is courtesy faculty at UF, both part of the UF/Gville community for 40+ years. I was accepted to the program and currently attending. I know of a few classmates who petitioned getting in. If you have any questions feel free to message/comment and I am happy to help.

That is wonderful. Can you help me out with some tips? I'm at the University of Florida and I will be graduating as an accelerated student next summer. I'm mostly likely loving that way and would love some help.

Thank you! I think the confusion is this: the letters were printed on March 3rd which means the decisions were final on that day. Maybe they weren't in the mail that exact day but the woman didn't lie to us about "Monday" because she very well knew the letters were printed and probably assumed they would be mailed out the same day. They are all personally addressed so I am sure it takes more than a day to get together and ready. I don't believe anyone lied here. Just wanted to clarify. Also, good luck to everyone! The ones who heard-seems like it's all Gainesville residents so I am confident everyone else will find out Monday. I am so happy for everyone!

In gville-mail came-no letter

I live in Gainesville. I didn't get anything in the mail today. Only a bill lol

I believe my essay is really great and my overall gpa too but my pre req isn't as good because I as well worked all through college anywhere from 30-60 hours a week plus a full 15-18 credit/semester course load. I look back now and ask myself how in the world I did it! Haha but I think it makes me a better applicant than if I didn't work and got a perfect gpa because I have great work ethic and determination! I think we all sound like great applicants and I wish everyone luck!!!

No the accelerated track is for students who hold a bachelors degree in a different degree area and are seeking a second degree in nursing-in an accelerated amount of time. If you have your AA you would go to a traditional BSN track.

I'm really glad we are all in a similar boat! Also I just emailed him I update my address because I'm pretty sure I sent that wrong address #s on my application!
